B's is my favorite place in town for breakfast. Whether that's steak and eggs, three cheese bacon omelette, or a bacon cheddar omelette, B's always satisfies, especially with the raisin toast. Service is good as well. I'd out this up in my top 3 places to eat breakfast in the UP.

Food was prepared exactly as requested and was very tasty! They were missing a wait person so the service was a tad slow, but we weren't in hurry so it didn't bother us. They were very prompt with beverage refills despite!

I give this place 4 stars because it is pretty good for a local diner. The food was exactly what you would expect from a small town diner nothing fancy. I got breakfast my buddy got lunch. Status quo.

This place smelled like my grandma's kitchen when we walked inside. I wish I'd been more adventurous but I was craving eggs and they make perfect scrambled eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and deelish. My husband's egg sandwich and fries were amazing (I stole some fries and a bite of homemade bread). The service was wonderful and our server kept our coffee topped off the entire time. I can't wait until we return!

Over priced and "homemade" cinnamon roll was the worst ever!! The cinnamon was 1/2" thick throughout, was bitter, and looked like mud. Could not eat it. A waste of $3.50. My dining companion had the breakfast and the hash browns were undercooked and had a very oily taste. The bacon looked like it had been deep fried and was so crisp it crumbled. She was only able to eat her 2 eggs. What a rip off.

Just an old fashion corner restaurant with the old stools at a breakfast/lunch bar. Grill is upfront. This is the kind of place that the locals go to. Breakfast was good, had eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and toast. The lady that took the order cooked the order and she was just one of the nicest lady's you'll meet.

Wonderful breakfast. Fabulous French Toast, made using their own homemade bread. This is our 2nd visit to this good spot. The atmosphere is like a large cafeteria with a lot of local people. The waitresses are nice and helpful. You get a good square meal at a fair price.

This is the kind of diner you hope to stumble upon while traveling. Great eggs. Homemade French toast. Crispy hash browns. Strong coffee. Fast service. The food (especially breakfast) is always good and super cheap. Ten or fifteen bucks will easily cover breakfast for two people. It's mainly a locals place. Sunday morning you'll regularly see college kids working off hangovers while eighty year old ladies drink coffee and try to speak into each others good ears... all while your oh-so-greasy-good breakfast is cooking in the open air kitchen, behind a counter that's probably been there for fifty years. Just go. You'll thank me later!

Great home made food. Amazing bargain! This is exactly how a mom and pop breakfast joint should be.

Really amazing breakfast place. Been here twice and both times, perfect, perfect over easy eggs (did I mention how perfect they were?). Crispy hash browns, fantastic french toast made from homemade bread (yes, they make their own bread here), generous pancakes...they have it all here. Decor is a bit old school and understated, but so are the prices. A big breakfast for three with all the trimmings and coffee/juice was $20. I will definitely be back everytime I am in town, which I hope to be often.

Not very optimistic about improvement. Stopped in for breakfast and left disappointed. The place was moderately busy, about two dozen folks, half already served. Waited about five minutes to give our order and get some coffee. Table is unstable and coffee spills on table, waitress leaves and don't see her again until food is delivered, 20 minutes later. I had to ask for a napkin to clean up the coffee and asked for a refill on our coffees, she returns with the coffee pot puts it down on the table and leaves a bigger coffee mess than the original spilled coffee, no clean up even attempted. Ten minutes later she shows up, puts the bill on the table and asks if there is anything else. Hey, how about a refilling our coffee cup! Service is a one maybe two stars. Now the food. Pretty basic request, biscuits and gravy with a side of crispy American fries with onions cooked in and poached eggs and toast.. The latter came as ordered, but some jelly would have been nice. The biscuits were good, I couldn't tell if they were homemade or store bought. The gravy was bad, gray with pink bits, definitely not homemade , looks like an opaque paste. Hey all the sausage gravy is; flour, sausage, milk, salt and pepper. Not difficult. Crispy American fries means that you cook them on both sides. Mine were fried crispy on one side while onions were layered on the other, then flipped over for a minute or two, then put on a plate. Results- crispy on one side, soft on the other and steamed onions. Food ratings two maybe three stars. I will give the place a try or two again, but I am not optimistic. One more thing, how about using some sanitizer solution when you clean up the tables instead of the same wet towel from table to table and as my coach used to say, how about a little hustle out there!

No frills country diner. Quaint. Very basic breakfast. You can tell the locals are here, mostly old men hanging out drinking coffee. Coffee was horrible, bitter and watery.. Come here for eggs, home friends, meat and toast.. Or the breakfast burrito which was pretty yummy.. Service was very friendly.

So lovely! Breakfast was fast and perfectly cooked. Looks like a small town greasy spoon but was very clean. Fast, friendly, happy service. We ordered a cinnamon roll to share in the car. It was $3.75. I thought it would be 3-5 inches wide, wrong! It was the size of a 9inch pie pan!!! Took up the whole take out container.
